LightMix® - Universal Color Compensation Set

Different channels for hybridization probes are available in the various LightCycler^® Instruments :

As from the table above, channels 530 and 640 are present in all the instruments, making this labeling combination appropriate for duplex kits and suitable for transfer among instruments.

We have introduced the new dye LC690 (with a wide emission band) which can be read either in the 705 or F3 channel of the capillary based LightCycler^® Instruments or in the >660 channel of the LightCycler^® 480 II Instrument (640/690).

This kit provides standards to create a ColorCompensation file to run LightCycler^® assays with the dye combinations 530/640 (genotyping combining SimpleProbe^® and hybridization probes) and 640/690 (detection/quantification) using the LightCycler^® Instruments 1.2, 1.5, 2.0 and 480 II (480 for 530/640 only).
