LightCycler 480 II (Roche Diagnostics)

Works with a 96-well or 384-well plate.
The technical innovation of LightCycler^® 480 offers four color channels: Cyan500, FAM, VIC/HEX/JOE/YAK, LC610/ROX und LC670/Cy5 (max. quadruplex assays).
The channels for Hybridization Probes (LC610, LC640, LC670+LC705) can be used simultaneously.
The new dye LC690 offers higher signal intensity than LC705 and is therefore the preferred dye for duplex tests on LightMix^® Kits.
Is the first plate based instrument that allows the testing of melting analysis with Hybridization Probes and SimpleProbe^® oligomers.
High Resolution Melting (HRM) analyses are also possible with this system.
